Problem

The bottom deck of the customer’s horizontal 6×20 triple deck screen was overloaded and blinding over, while taking 1/4″ minus crushed limestone and producing clean asphalt overlay chips and premium aglime products.

Solution

• Added a 6×18 TCI High-Frequency Screen following the horizontal screen.
• Screened the 1/4″ minus feed material with an 8 mesh opening.
• The #8 x 1/4″ overs created a clean asphalt overlay chip, while the minus #8 fines produced a premium aglime.
